Have you always wanted to become a conference speaker but didn't know where to start? Let this be the year that you make it a reality.

Join us as we celebrate Global Diversity CFP Day with a 1-day workshop bringing together aspiring speakers with expert mentors. Craft your speaker bio, work on your first CFP proposal with the help of your mentor - then present it for feedback.

The goal is to empower every attendee to write and share a "Speaker Bio" and a "Talk Proposal" by the end of the session. Based on time & audience size, we may also accommodate presentations.

We’re looking for mentors who can advise attendees with their experience of applying to conference CFPs in the past. Sign up to learn more here.

We also need sponsors to help pay for food & childcare for the event. Get your company name and/or a recruiter in front of our diverse group of attendees - over 1/3 of registrations have 5+ years of experience in tech! Email cfpday.nyc@gmail.com for the prospectus.

CODE OF CONDUCT

We prioritize marginalized people's safety over privileged people's comfort.

All attendees, workshop organizers, facilitators, mentors and venue staff involved in Global Diversity CFP Day are required to agree with the code of conduct.

Workshop team members will enforce this code of conduct throughout the event, and if your behavior proves to be harmful to others you will be removed from all Global Diversity CFP Day events.
